对于真正读书的留学生，有两点利好：一是节省了申请工签的费用，二是免去了6个月的等待时间，对于经济不算宽裕的同学，可以立即打工来贴补生活费。
但是有1点必须说明，既然明年学签可以充当工作许可了，那境内学签的申请和续签标准和审批也会提高标准，资金证明和成绩单可能会成为强制要求，尤其是之前的成绩单证明。

andforCICasitwouldnolongerprocessoff-campusworkpermitapplications.
CitizenshipandImmigrationCanadaanticipatesbeginningimplementationofthesechangesinJanuary2014.
Changeswouldbemadetotheelectronicimmigrationprocessingsystem(theGlobalCaseManagementSystemGCMS)andadditionalinformationwouldbeaddedtoCIC’sandCBSA’sWebsiteswhichwouldallow
CICandCBSAofficerstolimitstudypermitissuancetothosestudentsdestinedtoalistofdesignatedlearninginstitutions.
CICandtheCBSAwouldalsoamendapplicationforms
updatefieldmanualsandtrainofficersontheirrolesinimplementingtheproposedRegulations.
今年1月正式生效届时CIC和CBSA会公布具体细则和更新相关表格。
