My name is Li Qian. I received MBA from the University of Hertfordshire (U.K.). I am also a CFA Charterholder (U.S.A). Before starting my teaching career I had worked as a financial analyst for five years in China and in Canada. Since 2004 I have been teaching accounting and financial-related subjects. Currently I am teaching accounting and finance in the GAP program. As a Chinese lecturer with overseas experience I have a better understanding on the difference between Chinese education system and western education system. What I would like to share with my students is: it is more important to know how to study by oneself than to memorize some facts or a formula
