1月6日下午，黑利伯瑞国际学校篮球队的队员们应邀赴北京，与北京哈罗国际学校篮球队的队员们进行了一场精彩的篮球友谊赛。此次比赛分为女子篮球赛和男子篮球赛。拼搏、坚持、团结协作……运动员精神在两所学校的4支队伍中得到了很好的体现。

    On the afternoon of January 6th both senior boys and girls basketball teams of Haileybury International School travelled to Harrow International School to play friendly basketball matches. Great sportsmanship was shown by all four teams.

    挑战·战术



    哈罗国际学校男子篮球队是北京国际学校及高等院校联盟（ISAC）当中的佼佼者，黑利伯瑞国际学校男子篮球队面对如此强劲的对手，发起了严峻挑战。

    Haileybury Senior Boys team had a tough challenge against quality opposition that complete in the top school league in BeijingISAC.



    比赛进行到大约一半的时候，比分33:33打平。比赛双方为了在下半场胜出，都实施了一些特殊的战术安排。当比赛结束的哨声吹响时，黑利伯瑞最终以65:58取得了胜利。

    The score was even at half time (33-33) both teams needed to find something special in the second half to run out the game. In a close finish Haileybury defeated Harrow 65 to 58.

    团结·坚持



    女子篮球赛也异常激烈。开场后，双方表现相当，哈罗与黑利伯瑞以8:6的接近比分结束上半场。

    The girls team put up a good fight against Harrow. After the first 2 quarters the score was very close with Harrow 8 and Haileybury 6.



    进入下半场后，黑利伯瑞女子篮球队努力争取比分，Michelle的准确投篮为黑利伯瑞争取到了不少分数；最后一小节，哈罗的队员在黑利伯瑞队员的严密防守下出现了犯规，使黑利伯瑞获得了多次罚球机会。

    Haileybury fought hard to increase the score. In the final quarter there were many battles with Michelle defending very strongly resulting in many foul shots. She was very accurate and scored quite a few of these.



    诚然，比赛结束，黑利伯瑞没有取得大的突破，以13:23的比分负于哈罗女子篮球队，但黑利伯瑞女子篮球队的球技在比赛中获得了很大的提高，也进一步增进了她们的团队合作能力。

    The final score was 22 to 13 with Harrow being successful. Although the team was defeated there was a big improvement in many ps and the teamwork also improved greatly.
